Our Staff

	Dr. Tracy A. Barlup, VMD Dr. Tracy A. Barlup purchased the practice in February 2000. She is a native of Waynesboro, PA. Dr. Barlup received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and her Veterinary Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. Prior to coming to Hagerstown, Dr. Barlup worked at Rockhill Veterinary Associates in Sellersville, PA and VetSmart Pet Hospitals and Health Centers in Bel Air, MD and Baltimore, MD. Dr. Barlup is married to Michael McIntyre. Their son, Logan, turned ten in January. The Barlup-McIntyre household remains a busy place with us humans, as well with three dogs, five cats, and fourteen alpacas.
	Dr. Jennifer Johnson, DVM Dr. Jennifer Johnson has been with LAH since 2005. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She spent her pre-clinical veterinary school years on a small island in the West Indies called St.Kitts, which is home to Ross University. She completed a year of clinical education at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine and surgery over the past 6 years. Her special interests involve general surgery and dentistry. Dr. Johnson shares her home with a menagerie of critters. She is owned by her 2 dogs - "Stanley" the Standard Poodle and “Bella” the Pitbull; and 4 cats: Luke, Madeline, Grizzabella, and Kagney. She also cares for a cockatiel. Her hobbies include yoga, rock climbing, landscaping, and reading. She lives in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
	Dr. Adrianne Doering, VMD Dr. Adrianne Doering is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Doering graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. For three years Dr. Doering practiced mixed animal medicine in Frederick, Maryland before joining Longmeadow Animal Hospital in 2010. Dr. Doering is certified in veterinary acupuncture through IVAS, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. In her free time Dr. Doering enjoys hiking, biking and kayaking with her husband as well as spending time with their three dogs and three cats. Dr. Doering lives in Frederick, Maryland.
	Bethany Finnegan Animal Care Supervisor
	Amy Chaney Veterinary Assistant Amy has worked as a Veterinary Assistant since 2001. She is a valuable asset to the hospital with her never quit, up- beat attitude. Amy lives in Hagerstown with her husband Tony, daughter Hailey, and her son Ethan. She has a golden retriever, Alex P, and 2 cats, Buddy and Carly. She is also a big Redskins fan.
	April Eyler Veterinary Assistant April lives in Hagerstown with her husband Jeremy and daughter Jayden. She has 2 German Shepherds named Jazz & Jewels, a YorkiePoo named Nikki , two cats named Oscar and Tink, 3 lizards and 2 tree frogs. She is very happy to be part of the team at LAH.
	Chanda Newlin Veterinary Assistant
	Grace Mills Client Service Supervisor Grace has been with Longmeadow Animal Hospital since 2007, and thoroughly enjoys the daily challenges and rewards of her job. Grace lives in West Virginia with her husband Jason, daughter Corinne, and Labroador Retriever Sadie.
	Beth Shearer Receptionist Beth has lived in Hagerstown all her life. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She shares her home with a Golden Retriever- "Raider", two cats- "Brooke" & "Gordon", a MinPin- "Prancer", a parakeet- "Killer Bird", several fish, and a two legged beast named "Steve".
	Sharon Karraker Receptionist Sharon joined the LAH team in 2007, and thoroughly enjoys being part of our team. She lives in Boonsboro with her own menagerie of one husband, two sons, one dog, two cats, two cockatiels, and two horses. When time permits, she likes to curl up with a good mystery.
	Jon Adams Receptionist Jon joined the Longmeadow Animal Hospital team in April of 2010. He brings with him an endless supply of charm and wit. He is the proud father of two dogs- "Rufus" & "Baxter" and two cats- "Holden" & "Josie". He is currently working on a degree in Biotechnology.
	Silvia Ruiz-Evans Receptionist Silvia has been a delightful addition to our team. She returns home every day to greet her husband "Andrew" and 10 Chihuahuas- "Chico", "Mama", "Fatty", "Olivia", "Elliott", "Gypsy", "Gyzmo", "Matty", "Miracle", and "Dumpling". She also has 2 Quaker Parrots "Kellbell" and "Chichi" . She was raised in Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys outdoor activities such as canoeing , swiming and camping. Her life long dream is to own a farm where she can raise a lot of animals.
	Tina Barkdoll Kennel Supervisor Tina has been a part of the LAH staff for the past three years, taking care of all the boarding and hospitalized pets. Besides animals, her other passions include: outdoor adventure, music, and photography. She enjoys spending time with her fiance and her three cats.
