Tracy A. Barlup, VMD
Dr. Tracy A. Barlup purchased the practice in February 2000. She is a native of Waynesboro, PA. Dr. Barlup received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and her Veterinary Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. Prior to coming to Hagerstown, Dr. Barlup worked at Rockhill Veterinary Associates in Sellersville, PA and VetSmart Pet Hospitals and Health Centers in Bel Air, MD and Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Barlup is married to Michael McIntyre. Their son, Logan, turned seven in January. The Barlup-McIntyre household remains a busy place with us humans, as well with two dogs, five cats, and twelve alpacas.

Dr. Jennifer Johnson, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Johnson received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She spent her pre-clinical veterinary school years on a small island in the West Indies called St.Kitts, which is home to Ross University. She completed a year of clinical education at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine and surgery over the past 5 years. Her special interests involve general surgery and dentistry. Dr. Johnson shares her home with a menagerie of critters. She is owned by her Standard Poodle "Stanley" and 4 cats: Luke, Madeline, Grizzabella, and Kagney. She also cares for a cockatiel and a guinea pig. Her hobbies include rock climbing, learning electric guitar, working in the yard, and reading. She lives in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.

Andrew Thompson - Practice Manager
Andrew has lived in Hagerstown since 2006 with his 2 cats, Ralph and Sadie. He enjoys hiking, traveling and reading. Andrew joined the LAH team in 2007 as Practice Manager, where he strives daily to provide quality care and management for all our clients and staff. |

Amy Chaney - Veterinary Assistant
Amy has worked as a Veterinary Assistant since 2001. She is a valuable asset to the hospital with her never quit, up- beat attitude. Amy lives in Hagerstown with her husband Tony, daughter Hailey, and her son Ethan. She has a golden retriever, Alex P, and 2 cats, Buddy and Carly. She is also a big Redskins fan. |

Rebecca Remsburg - RVT Registered Technician
Becca joined our team in 2006. She brings to the hospital her passion for animal care, exceptional client education skills, and always-pleasant personality. Her special interests include dentistry and animal nutrition. Becca lives in Williamsport, MD with her tribe of farm animals and house pets, but she is especially close to her deaf pitbull "Misque". |

April Eyler - Veterinary Assistant
April lives in Hagerstown with her husband Jeremy and daughter Jayden. She has 2 german shepherds named Jazz and Jewels, a mutt named X, two cats nameed Oscar and Tink, 3 guinea pigs, 3 lizards and 2 tree frogs. She is very happy to be part of the team at LAH. |

Amy lives in Smithsburg with her husband and 2 children. She has worked in the veterinary field for the past 12 years. She joined the LAH team in May 2008, and has become a great asset to our staff. |

Grace Bartgis - Receptionist
Grace has been with Longmeadow Animal Hospital since 2007, and thoroughly enjoys the daily challenges and rewards of her job. Grace lives in West Virginia with her better half, Jason, daughter Corinne, Labrador Sadie & crazy kitten Lucien. |

Nancy Barnhart - Receptionist
Nancy is a recent addition to our staff, and she is very happy to be part of our family. She lives in Maugansville with her husband, six boys, and her Dad. Her extended family includes 1 parakeet, 2 rabbits, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. |

Sharon Karraker - Receptionist
Sharon joined the LAH team in 2007, and thoroughly enjoys being part of our team. She lives in Boonsboro with her own menagerie of one husband, two sons, one dog, two cats, two cockatiels, and two horses. When time permits, she likes to curl up with a good mystery. |

Tina Barkdoll- Kennel Attendant
Tina has been a part of the LAH staff for the past two years, taking care of all the boarding and hospitalized pets. Besides animals, her other passions include: outdoor adventure, music, and photography. She enjoys spending time with her fiance and her three cats.

Beth Shearer - Kennel Attendant
Beth has lived in Hagerstown her whole life. She shares her home with two cats and a golden retriever. Beth joined our team early in 2008, and has been a wonderful addition to our kennel staff. Her love and care for animals is clearly evident and well appreciated at the hospital |

Jacque Kos - Veterinary Technician
Jacque is a current graduate of Wilson College where she obtained her B.S. in Veterinary Medical Technology. She lives in PA with a menagerie of pets including dogs, cats, gerbils and rats. She enjoys snowboarding, frisbee, football and hiking. Her smile brightens even the grayest days.
Karen Anderson - Kennel Assistant
Karen joined the LAH staff in July of 2008. She lives in Hagerstown with her husband Dave, and two children. She also has 3 step kids that keep her weekends busy. Other Anderson household members include: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rats and 3 hermit crabs! Karen is active at her childrens' school serving as PTA Vice President and Band Booster Vice President. We are so happy to have her on our staff.
Judy Rinehart - Receptionist
Judy has lived in Hagerstown most of her life. She lives with her fiance Bill, and their 3 year old son, Isaiah. Her love for animals is what attracted her to apply for a position at our hospital. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and most outdoor activities.
Jeanna Whittington - Kennel Assistant
Jeanna has lived in Hagerstown her entire life with her family and 2 dogs, a chihuahua named Licorice and a cocker spaniel named Chloe. She has just joined our team recently and loves animals.
