 Longmeadow Animal Hospital offers boarding services for current patients. at th. Our facility is heated in the cooler months and air-conditioned in the warmer months. We have indoor runs as well as 3 different sizes of cages. Dogs are walked a minimum of 3 times daily. We can accomodate any dietary restriction and medicate pets, too. Our prices range from $10.60/day for a cat to $17.00/day for a dog weighing over 100 pounds. Call today for more information or to make your reservation!
BOARDING VACCINE REQUIRMENTS
All pets left for boarding must be current on all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks, or they will be treated on admission at the owner's expense. They also must have had a negative fecal sample within the last 6 months. If not, a test will be performed and if positive, the pet will be treated at the owner's expense.
Dogs are required to have had a DHLPP vaccine within the last 12 months, a Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine within the last 6 months, and a Rabies vaccine within 12 months if under 1 year of age, or within 3 years if indicated.
Cats are required to have had a FVRCP vaccine within the last 12 months, and a Rabies vaccine within 12 months if under 1 year of age, or within 3 years if indicated.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Due to the stresses of boarding, pets often develop diarrhea and/or vomiting. Diarrhea and/or vomiting is considered a minor illness and will be treated at the discretion of the doctor on duty. Clients will not be contacted if pet develops diarrhea/vomiting. Longmeadow Animal Hospital requres a credit or debit card be kept on file for all boarding pets. This information is to be provided at check in. Longmeadow Animal Hospital is not responsible for any items lost or destroyed while boarding. If it is determined your pet needs a bath, it will be given at 25% discount. Longmeadow Animal Hospital does not provide 24-hour supervised care. Payment is expected before the time of pick up. In the event your pet incurs additional charges during its stay, the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card you have provided.
